  • You're right about the PTSD: it's a bastard of a thing which can be triggered unexpectedly and throw me into emotional paralysis and then anxiety, depression and sometimes rage. At the time of this particular dream I was (and still am) struggling with stress to do with my living situation, but the dream had nothing to do with that. Interesting how the mind works, eh?

    • Yep! It's strange, because the movers finally came from Nevada with a bunch of our stuff on Friday, and when I looked back at the partially lit dinning room from my master bedroom about fifteen minutes ago I thought I saw someone, or something. My heart jumped, and I looked back, and it was just a chair, and some rain boots on the floor. I logically know there's nothing there, but I got an adrenaline rush, and my heart is still pounding. Sometimes living alone can feel spooky. I'm glad I have my cat, but I wish I had a dog as well.
