You're right about the PTSD: it's a bastard of a thing which can be triggered unexpectedly and throw me into emotional paralysis and then anxiety, depression and sometimes rage. At the time of this particular dream I was (and still am) struggling with stress to do with my living situation, but the dream had nothing to do with that. Interesting how the mind works, eh?
Yep! It's strange, because the movers finally came from Nevada with a bunch of our stuff on Friday, and when I looked back at the partially lit dinning room from my master bedroom about fifteen minutes ago I thought I saw someone, or something. My heart jumped, and I looked back, and it was just a chair, and some rain boots on the floor. I logically know there's nothing there, but I got an adrenaline rush, and my heart is still pounding. Sometimes living alone can feel spooky. I'm glad I have my cat, but I wish I had a dog as well.
