I know you're Slavic from the name, and guessed Russian from the (similar to American) arrogance. Most people consider Russians to be European unless you are from Eastern Russian (figured not, they don't tend to complain as much), but I know you guys get offended over being called Europeans, so I put it in quote marks for your sensitivities.
