  • Swimming Home by Evanescence.

Way down, I've been way down
    underneath this skin
waiting to hear my name again

    I'm sorry
    nothing can hold me
    I adore you still
    but I hear them calling
    and nothing can hold me

Way down, all the way down
    I will hear your voice
    but I'll no longer understand

    I'm sorry
    nothing can hold me
    I adore you still
    but I hear them calling

I was looking to the sky
when I knew I'd be swimming home
and I cannot betray my kind
    They are here
    it's my time

    I'm sorry
    nothing can hold me
    I adore still
    but I hear them calling
    and nothing can hold me

I really think this song is about suicide while others think it's about a mermaid. The majority of Evanescence's songs are very depressing. Some others are: "Going Under", "Like You", "My Immortal", "My Last Breathe", "Tourniquet", "Whisper", etc.

Moby- Pale Horses (I might be getting the song wrong)

Daft Punk (Tron Legacy soundtrack)- Adagio for Tron

    Within Temptation- Memories

    Cats (Broadway Musical)- Memory

The Phantom of the Opera- Past the Point of No Return

    Enigma- "The Child In Us"

    Enigma- "La Puerta Del Cielo"

    Good Charlotte- "Seasons"

Good Charlotte (The Chronicles of Life and Death)- Most of the songs from that album are depressing.

    Linkin Park- Numb

    Linkin Park- Somewhere I Belong

    Linkin Park- Given Up

    Portishead- Roads

    Portisehead- Mysterons

    Bjork- Joga

"?" - Nocturne (It's a classical piece but I can't for the life of me remember who wrote it)

    Mozart- Requiem

    Mozart- Hostias

    The Who- Behind Blue Eyes

    Soundgarden- Black Hole Sun

    Pearl Jam- Jeremy

There's more but I can't remember them right now.
