    Some sort of experience, like laser tag or a holiday or live music tickets. Something you can use once, share with people you like, then hold onto the memories of for as long as you want. If you spend you money on something you use every day it fades into the background, stops being interesting and you might as well have not bothered with it in the first place for all the long term impact it had. It's funny how the longer something lasts physically, the less it seems to affect us emotionally.

    The only one of those which is actually an experience is fast food, which isn't exactly the best example but it'll have to do. I'd have a lot more enjoyment eating shit food with my friends than I would with a new phone or a new pair of jeans or a video game.

    Although I suppose you can play the game with friends too. And maybe even use the sex toy.

      I won $5500 a couple years ago and spent most of it at gourmet resturants within a couple months. I don't regret doing that either.

    Car, vacation with girlfriend...

    That's what I spend money on. Bi-xenon headlights, chip tunning, AMG bumper and NTG2 navigation.
    Vacation on the beach and vacation in the mountains. Weekend somewhere with girlfriend.
    Pretty much on what I spend some of my money. The rest goes into a bank account. Saving money for when I need it.

    Hmmm, none of those. My fridge and cabinets are barren so I would buy some food and cook all day then share the feast.

    Other than that, I'm saving for a car. A car that I love, not just a vehicle to get me from place to place, but an extension of myself. I miss that :(

        Good thinkin. Being the type of person that i am, I would buy the supplies and build it myself. Ideally, I would have lots of big trees. If that was the case I would just have to buy oodles of rope, find some planks and a big old drill and a ladder. Some day my friend. Some day.
