What's the best liquor for a homeless person?

I can afford about 30 dollars worth of liquor... should I go for quantity over quality? Would he appreciate a decent bottle of wine or should I just buy two or three Coors 12-packs?

He probably needs more of a feed than alcohol. His stomach might be empty and hell get drunk easily. $30 worth of food would probably be better.

No, there's food banks and soup kitchens everywhere. Plus he can get food stamps if he doesn't already so food is a bad investment. Food is free and readily available.

All of these are meant to provide a supplement for food insecure houses. It is incredibly rare that a combination of programs alone can provide a full diet for a person with no income

I personally think giving money is just the better option. He can decide for himself. Hopefully he won't even spend it on alcohol, but on something he needs.

Just buy as many stacks or hurricane ice as you can.

Just give him/her the $30 and let him do with it what he pleases.

Half gallon of vodka or rum, like $10-12.00. Fuck beer or wine.

And beer and wine is not liquor, by definition. Liquor refers to spirits made by distillation, not just fermentation.

    • Definition of liquor - alcoholic drink, especially distilled spirits.
      ~ Oxford Dictionary

Especially, not exclusively. 'Liquor' can be used to refer to wine and beer.

I suppose it can, but nobody really does and it would be confusing since it's not the typical understanding of the word.

Everclear when diluted down to 80 proof can be even cheaper than the vodka. Y'alls can use frozen concentrated apple juice if y'alls want to. Folks in West Virginia call it apple pie.
