The first time I went fishing with the first friend I made in high-school. It was also the first time I ever lived by the ocean. Moved to a beautiful little coastal town in year 7 aussie (not sure how you grades work elsewhere)
The day started of BAD. Was my first day of high-school year 7, but school had already been on for a few weeks but because I had just moved, I was starting late. Everyone else had already clicked up and made their groups of friends. To make it worse I was late for first class cause I got lost, I missed roll call and when I finally found my class everyone was seated and I had to do the whole walk of shame to the back of the class while the bullies fucked with me. At the end of the day My mother forgot to pick me up and by the time I figured this out the bus had left. On my way home the bus came past and all the kids on there laught and pointed.
Anyway when I was nearly home one of the kids that was giving me shit in class pulled up beside me on his bmx bike. He asked a few questions, we talked, then he was like "lets go fishing"
I was already a fan of fishing. Had fished a lot along the fresh water river We lived at before we moved.
Was just an awesome time after my first day of school was over. I had made a very good friend with the same hobbies, We explored the beautiful coast, we caught lots of fish, the sun was shining, bla bla. was like paradise.
