    My thoughts on trans people?

My thoughts are that everyone on this site is motherfucking obsessed with motherfucking trans people. My thoughts are that this question gets asked once a week. Normally, I dont really think deeply about other people's mf junk, till I sign on here, and then there's yet another post, asking me incessantly what I think about other people's genitals. Were you reading a good book? Well you better quit that shit and start hyper focusing on the genetalia of others.

I think, maybe, instead of fucking obsessively asking the same 20 dogfuckers what they think about trans people every fucking week and getting the same fucking answers, maybe, you could read a book, or get a fucking job. Maybe go outside. Learn knitting. Maybe knit yourself a mf trans person and yeet it down a well, you obsessed mf.

If this is some random OP, I am SO SORRY. This website is obsessed with trans bashing. Sign off. Sign off and have an ice cream cone and ignore all the comments. If it's a regular user, get a FUCKING HOBBY, preferably one that puts your typing fingers near a chainsaw, you obsessed cunt.

Yes, such a rant. What are his thoughts? Trans at al is a hot topic in all forms of media across the world I hardly think it's 'the 20 or so' users of this forum only who debate the subject. Which is , whatever way you look at it , interesting as it's being normal now is a new part of all our lives.

It's true. My friend's last roommate was trans and now they're transitioning back.. they had surgery at 20 they're 27 now and said they were just confused.. this is why transgender is a serious mental illness that needs better therapy not surgery

Yea, young people do stupid shit all the time...transitioning should only be something granted after sufficiently talking it out with a therapist. I've seen stories of kids as young as 14 being allowed to transition, even being ENCOURAGED to transition by adults around them. Once they were only a few years older, they realized they weren't trans but the changes were permanent.

When it comes to the topic of transgenderism this kind of thing bothers me the most.

Non binary is when someone says they dont have a gender they are neither a boy or girl. My question is if you dont teach kids what non binary is is it even possible for them to become non binary? I dont think so. Because no one even thinks about stuff so stupid. I dont want my kids being raised around these people. I believe this thing is a weird trend thats being glamorized by weirdos. Theres no way all these kids at once decided that their gender doesnt exist. They were taught that crap.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
      -
    • S0UNDS_WEIRD

What happens if you don't teach them what nonbinary is? Simple. They just grow up uncomfortable until they get old enough to learn what it is themselves, or spend their whole lives like that like they used to.

If it has to be taught, then where did it come from? It's no different from with homosexuals really. Eventually, when tolerance is sufficient, enough of them rise up to make their presence known and desire for acceptance known. That's been the case with all of this.

I understand wanting to protect your kids, but why is this something to protect them from? Do you think nonbinary people are bad or dangerous? If not, why is it even a big deal if they say they're nonbinary? I just don't get that part.

I honestly dont care. The only reason why people (who arent trans) care so much is because sometimes people look so obviously out of place because of their natural hormones.

You wouldnt bat an eye if a man successfully passed as a woman, its only when their shoulders are too broad, or they have a facial hairline, or they dont have hips to shake, or their voice is super deep.

            Comment Hidden ( show )
              -
            • S0UNDS_WEIRD

No. You don't necessarily owe them anything. I _am_ insinuating, or rather directly asserting, that if you cared about their interests you wouldn't vote _against_ their interests. I mean there's not really a nice way to sugarcoat that. It is what it is.

You're a woman, right? So say we were friends. I don't owe you anything but if I knowingly voted for someone who was bad news for women you would absolutely have an incredibly valid reason to be hurt, possibly angry, and to not want to be my friend anymore. I mean there's simply no way around it and surely deep down you know that even if it's uncomfortable to accept.

It's easy to say "don't argue politics and religion" but the reality is that when either impedes on the well-being of someone it can't be swept under the rug that one's friend is actively voting for a scenario that hurts them. Politics isn't imaginary.

Saying tolerance is a two-way street in this scenario is like a white person voting against the well-being of a black friend, against the tolerance of their black friend, and then demanding that their racism be tolerated, that their intolerance be tolerated. That's utter nonsense.

Well I have sympathy for you both. I'd like to echo what SkullNRoses said, that the problem is your opposition, not other people who are oppressed alongside you. One thing to consider is that, while it wouldn't be their fault even if they did make it out luckier than you, they actually didn't get luckier because increased recognition also comes with increased hatred. You might not have much support but you also don't have to worry about being murdered by a stranger for your attraction to tornadoes. So there are pros and cons.

I'd like to add that I'm aware you had a bad experience trying to join an LGBTQ group but you have to remember there are mean people everywhere. Just like not everyone who is straight, like myself, is going to hate on you, neither will all of them. They're not all the same. There are members with a bad reputation for doing a poor job accepting bisexual women who show a preference for men for example. There's work to do everywhere. So show acceptance and be part of the solution instead of the problem.

Consider this above all: While this is especially unfortunate for you, due to how hateful bigots are, this group often encounters people attempting to join them with outlandish claims meant to mock them. It's entirely possible they were harsh because they thought you were there to hurt them. Well, I can vouch for you. Anyone reading this, I'm telling you right now, I've seen a glimpse of her inner life and her history of attraction to tornadoes is 100% legitimate and with _heaps_ of evidence. This woman is not at all a troll and she can easily prove it. She deserves support.

Your comment insinuates that my politics make me a less than good friend, and I disagree with that sentiment. I don't think people who are friends, and relatives of transgendered people owe it to said transgendered people to change the entirety of their politics for the sake of those transgendered people. I think politics is a rather personal thing, and that people who feel entitled to pressure others to change their politics for the sake of their own personal issues need to mind their own business. I know myself as do most of the members of the Is It Normal community, and I know I am, and have been a good friend to that person. Your free to have your own opinions about transgenderism, and what not, but no one is ever obligated to change their politics for it.

Despite some of the discourse that you might have seen on this post I'm not especially anti-trans. I think what I would most like to share with you is the fact that these people with their gender dysphoria, or not just taking hormones, or having cosmetic surgeries, but they're having parts of their bodies cut off so as to appear more like the gender they identify as, but the thing is that there's no known way to change someone's chromosomes. There's no way to create a uterus, or testicles, or any of it? The changes these people are supposedly fighting so hard for are all cosmetic, and surface level things. No doctor can magically turn a man into a woman, or vice versa.

I don't want to see anyone with a shlong in the locker room at the gym, or in the ladies room.

I don't have anything against trans people but good on them if they choose to be trans.

Me too but they should have their own sport catogory. It's not fair women who have gone through puberty as males competing against womb women in sports.
