Whenever someone asks me a question, any question, that even the simplest minded person could figure out if they just took a moment to think about it, I pretty much lose it.
I can only assume they are asking because they want attention, because there would be no other reason to ask the question.
For instance, when taking some folks out on a boat in Alaska, this woman asked how far from us the ocean was. I pointed in the right direction and said it was about ten miles away. Then she asked, I shit you not, "Well, what's the altitude on the boat, then?" Really? Yes really!
