iPhone4 32GB. I've had since probably about oct 2010. It's served me pretty well. Most of my photography and videos were made on it. I've dropped it a few times, but have never needed to get it repaired. I've got thousand of things on it and I still have space left.
Now, the phone I had before it was a LG Shine and it was fucking waste of time. I took allot of photos on it and I ask if Geek Squad if there was a way for me to get those photos off and they told me that there wasn't a Fucking "card" in it! I don't know what that piece was called but it wasn't in the phone and to this day, those photos are stuck on there! The camera was pretty pathetic. The photos were often TOO grainy and the resolution was horrible. It deleted my old texts automatically. The memory system made no sense. I went to brooklyn once and took photos. It said I had to delete some to make room. I deleted about 5-10 and it STILL said that there wasn't any room! It seems to me that if you delete a few than there should be some space! Then it kept sending me alerts that I had no space repeatedly, yet I was still able to take photos and receive texts. The original model I got, started overheating. I kept that phone in my pocket and it would get so hot and stay like that even after I turned it off. I had to get it replaced and the guy tells me that there were reports of that model overheating. So why would they still sell it? It's like when the Xbox 360 had the "Ring of Death" and it took Microsoft quite a few tries to fix the problem, but at least they fixed it! The battery was another problem. The graphic consisted of three thick bars and it barely lasted. It took about two-three hours to charge and texting or a phone call could drain it out in a few seconds!
I learned that getting a LG was a huge mistake and that buying the iPhone was one of the best choices I had ever made.
wow that is bad! my last phone was an LG and (coincidentally?) the worst phone i've ever had. issues with battery & memory. the 5MP camera was worse then some VGA cameras i've had LOL. happy with my SGS2 now =)
About the photos on your old phone. I don't how tech savvy you are, but sometimes there is software that you can get that, with the proper cable, will allow you to transfer the files on your phone to your computer. It might be worth a little research to you :)
I did get a program for it, but my laptop ended up crashing shortly after I installed it:( There were some cables that I think I bought for one of my phones. I don't think it worked and I might of taken them back.
what phone do you have?
