See it depends on how much time you can spare and much you are willing to spend.
Dogs are good but you have to feed them like a human.. like a lot and also they need to be walked.
I dont know about cats that much ask people who you know that have cats as pet
For rabbits and hamsters you have to be very carefull with the diet.. I had a pet rabbit once so I know.. always keep rabbits and hamsters in a pair, never alone
i like the fish idea , fish are more like a good painting than a pet. and now that i thought about it , i might get some pet fish . that way i dont feel as i own a fish as much as im just letting them exist in my house like a fly that got in through the door. But i think they will only be catfish as no one raises catfish in an aquarium other than malls and museums
It should depend on your level of commitment, time, money, and how suitable the home is for the pet. A dog is like a child and they need alot of attention especially in the beginning for training. If you're busy, broke, and don't have a suitable home get a fish. The biggest thing is make sure you're ready for the commitment so the poor thing doesn't end up at a shelter please
a cat worthy to spend money on it and i recommend you little kitten so you raise him and because they are cute when they are babies
depends if you have tie to walk in if you get a dog, a backyard is you get a hamster, and so on.

I guess declawing cats in the 90s was a bit more accepted as all my moms cats are/were declawed but its still not morally ok.
The puppy card is: being a shithead who destroys the house by chewing and then running up to you with those big sad eyes. You initally say bad dog! But know its just a phase and no amount of yelling will solve the problem.
