    My dog had to be put down a month ago. My boyfriend currently has three indoor dogs, three outdoor dogs, 6 horses, a midget pony and a pig. Going to meet the pig today and I'm ridiculously excited.

    We went to a PetCo that just opened up near him, and now I want dogs, cats, ferrets, rats, mice, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and a fancy parrot they had named Banana. He wants most of those, plus a chameleon.

      I'm sorry about your dog. Back when this place had pictures, you had a pic of her up and I thought she looked beautiful. If that wasn't the same doggy I apologise.

        That was her :) Thanks. I know you can relate. She was 14 and going into kidney failure. I'm angry because I believe this was caused by my aunt's actions - feeding her rotting meat every chance she got, in addition to feeding her food she was allergic to.

        I wish she'd died instead.

          For a dog that was fed bad food she sure lived long. In most families I've seen with old dogs, the doggy usually lives 8-10 years. Fourteen is an amazing number. Im assuming you took good care of her after your aunt didn't since she lived so long. She looked like a happy dog.

            The aunt did it for the last few years of her life, whenever I wasn't looking. Despite the instructions of three vets. She thinks she knows everything.

            Met rescued pitbull mix yesterday. I so want to take her home with me, but pitbull are a banned breed in Australia. She was the skinniest little thing :(

              Yeah, the whole "dangerous dog breeds" thing is bullshit. The only times I've seen dogs hurt people is if their owner was an asshole. It's not the dog, it's the person who raises it.

                Most definitely. All the pit rescues I've ever seen are the biggest babies. They just want to be loved.

        The pig was so cute :) so spiky. Fitting as her name is Pineapple. She mostly ignored us, though, as there were acorns to be eaten.
