I am Swedish and I'm sure that I am pretty much 100% Swedish on my father's side because the entire family on his side has been dairy farmers for generations in a small village in the middle of Sweden. On my mother's side on the other hand, I might be partly Finnish, if you live in Scandinavia you know that Sweden and Finland is very "connected" because Finland learns Swedish in school and a lot of immigrants cross the northern border from both countries. I think that my mother told me once that my grandfather (Who is Swedish) has the name "Nergård" (Litterally "Downgarden") because his ancestors immigrated from Finland and changed their name from "Alatalo" (I have know idea how to spell it) to "Nergård" because he just translated it. Nergård isn't my last name by the way, I have my father's last name.
What nationality is your family?
