Oh, and by the way, there are plenty of Rock and Metal songs out there that are both written by other people and which are completely devoid of any talent.
And what the hell happened to all the other types of music? Like, I don't know, Ska, Reggae, Punk, Jazz, Classical, Shoegazing, Rave, Folk, to name a few. And that really is only a few. The fact that you only have 4 options to choose from says it all really.:/
