What mania is this..?

I understand this feeling, I used to cut myself not out of depression or because it was a sexual act, but because I liked the act, the way it felt, and the way my blood looked. I am generally quite a normal seeming person. You wouldn't guess that I do something considered so strange. There isn't really anything mentally wrong with me, humans are truly just weird. People are going to hate on you for this if they don't get it, which is normal for them to do, but don't let it get to you. Life is short.

I stopped doing this because it was suspicious to people close to me for me to have random scars and marks and to be covered for long periods of time. I wouldn't recommend continuing this forever, but if you are going to do it anyways you should take safety precautions.

Try not to do that please. It’s a very bad and addicting habit to get into. It’s extremely hard to stop once you’ve started.

Instead of wanting to see your blood and hurting yourself, try seeing others people’s blood

It's called being a Hemophile. No not hemophilia, that is some one who is sexually aroused by blood. No not a hemophiliac, that is some one with a specific blood disorder. A Hemophile is someone who is interested or enthused by blood.
