One count murder, multiple counts voluntary manslaughter, and all the mess of charges that come with it. Now I feel cliche to have to pull the whole “I know it sounds bad, but-“ bit, but, I believe there are many people out there that would agree with me on my “reasoning”
Prison is prison, I did between 7-9 months solitary confinement, a couple months in max security, and the rest in low security. In total I did just under 3 years in, being sentenced to 10. Only served a quarter of my sentence. The hands down worst part of being behind bars is it never really leaves you, you never “finish your sentence” even after you get out. You’ll always have little quirks in your head and behavior that follow you everywhere you go. There’s always going to be extra legal and social limits you’ll have to deal with
I guess the biggest difference between Russian prison and others is I was with dudes who had never lived in Russia - they’d been in since before the collapse of the USSR. And Russian (and I assume most other) prisoners are very very well behaved compared to what they show on TV. Guards are up your ass so far you don’t have any time to act out
I’m happy to speak a bunch on the whole experience, just assume you wouldn’t want a big ole read of me running my mouth lmao
what made you abnormal
