What sports did/do you play??????????
In my youth while I have played or competed in baseball, basketball, tennis, swimming, and volleyball... I excelled at Cross Country and long distance track (2 mile, with some 1 mile races)...
As an adult I got into White Water Canoe & Kayak Slalom racing... and went to the Olympics and 2 World Championships as a Judge/Official which does not count the hundreds of local to various other international reaces that I was a Judge/Official at that got me to the Olympics and World Championships.
While I could kayak the gates at lower level races... I had started decades later in the sport than the real experts and I focused at what I could be really good at: Judging and Officiating.
I played basketball for a very short period of time, and was horrible at it. 🤣
I tried to pick up softball/baseball at one point and had a good eye for hitting the ball with the bat, but was nervous about having to catch the ball with my hands, since I was always afraid it was going to hit my face (how I wasn't afraid while holding the bat is beyond me, but I was a kid who didn't really think things through).
Though these don't qualify as your typical sports, I also figure skated briefly as a kid and rode horses (hunter/jumper) for several years. Riding is probably the most difficult thing I've ever done, despite it looking the easiest, as it really takes a lot of core and leg strength, as well as balance to ride correctly, especially on stronger horses (or lazy ones that require constant leg pressure to keep moving forward 🤣 - my legs always felt like spaghetti noodles after riding these types) and doing higher intensity, more technical work. I never got to a point to where it didn't wear me out by the end of a ride (even as an energetic kid), and it was always a challenge for me, even at the lower levels I was able to do it at.
