Absolutely right what you say about the arrogance of U.S. Americans. You mention Canada and Mexico, but in terms of being an American, shouldn't Central America with all it's little countries also count? And what about South America. You have Europeans and Asians, but only the U.S. is American?
Don't forget I'm a child of the world. My mother's an Italian from France. My father's Welsh from England. My older brother was born in London, me in New York and my sister in Hong Kong. I'm the only American in my family.
