What is your worst fear

As it says... worst fears??

I'm not saying scared of like spiders when you don't fully freak out and am able to continue with your day... I'm talking about being so frozen in fear you cannot do anything..

I'm not sure if I have a "worst fear", I mean I have a fear of unstable heights (nothing to grab onto, like if your standing on a big ass cliff with a massive drop and you lean over to get a view but there's no guard rail to stop you from falling to your death)..
If I had a "worst fear" it would have to be drowning.. not being able to breath or escape.. not being able to swim to the surface as you sink to the bottom

I thought about this for like a whole day before I came back. My biggest fear is silence, silence follows every horrific event that occurs, silence comes after a gunshot, silence greets you after a fight, silence is the worst and best thing and it's always there...
Spiders still scare the shit out of me though.

That my mother will die one day because I live with her. I know it will happen one day but I hope she still has many years in her left.

Probably some media fueled panic stopping people from going outside and not having anyone to drink in front of 7-11 with.

Losing a loved one going missing with no explanation or leads, particularly my daughter.

Also burning to death. I love fire and staring at it, but don't want to die by it.

My parents dying is up on the list, but it's something inevitable, something I will have to accept at some point...

So my worst fear is being dirt poor. I am driven to make money so I can provide a good life for my future family and aging parents. Sure, cars and stuff is nice, I like buying things I like and don't necessarily need, but my desire to provide for my senior parents drives me to do more and strive for more. If I fail at that and can't help them, I would have failed as a son and I would have failed at life.

They say money can't buy happiness and while that may be somewhat true, money can buy good healthcare, money can buy medicine, quality food, everything a person needs to lead a good life.

If I could not provide that and even worse, have to ask my elderly parents for money, I would have no purpose and I would definitely end the nightmare called poverty permanently.

  • Probably sleep paralysis. So far that's the only thing that has scared the living shit out of me.

Bees, wasps, black n yellow flying things with stingers. I am allergic and found out recently when I got stung for the first time in 24 years.

Oh dang, this is a deep question. It would take a while for me to describe perfectly my fear, but its something like this:

Imagine having your whole life erased. Not just dying, but all that work and love, lost. Its one thing to not succeed in life, but I imagine success being erased would hurt more. Sometimes I accept the idea of dying when my time comes, sometimes I don't. But I'll never make peace with the concept of losing all my effort and not having a chance to fix it.

Being covered in bugs especially centipedes. If someone put me through that I would probably murder them and plead something about trauma in court. I despise bugs. I guess jelly fish scare me a bit to.

    My fear is trypophobia
I know it sounds crazy but i'm incredibly fearful of holes and feel super grossed out. I am also scared of maggots which caused my fear so let me explain. I was in my kitchen and I was going to make some pecan pie and so I was grabbing the bag of pecans when I saw thousands of large maggots crawling through the pecans and there were thousands of holes in the pecan filling it was terrible youd think id have a hole of pecans but its the holes that haunt me.

I have that also. Images of Lotus pods freak me out. A few weeks ago pine cones started affecting me. At first just looking at the bottom made me go crazy. Now it has gotten to where seeing them from the side with all the gaping holes makes my breathing labored, gives me goosebumps, I break out in a cold sweat, and my heartbeat increases. I am able to avoid images of lotus pods so it is kinda like out of sight out of mind after a while, but pine cones are a different story. I have a huge pine tree in my yard and I have to see them almost every day. My whole subdivision is full of pine trees so pine cones are all over the streets. I cannot get away from them and it is overwhelming to me. Now the pills I take for my stomach are giving me a weird feeling and I start rocking my body back and forth or shaking my leg. The pills are in big blister packs and seeing all of the pills lined up beside each other and on top of each other is about to drive me crazy. Sorry for the long reply.
