I want friends beyond the internet. Friends that actually want to spend time together and not use me. People who want to do things together who pay attention to my personality and understand me. I don' think that is much to ask for but apparently in this instant gratification, electronic world, it is.
Even if you had friends sitting in front of you chances are they're all glued to their phones or trying to figure out the wifi password.
Friends come and go, how long they stay in your life depends on how each of you change (or in some cases stay the same).
Different people are friends for different things or reasons
The point of having friends is not only to stave of loneliness and get along with but people but also to grow WITH each other, not apart. Yes, interests change for some but the most important point for friends or people in a group to maintain a relationship is to have common goals. Having different goals per person is acceptable as long as it does not separate them from the original group or circle of friends that was previously established. I thank you for your reply though. I agree in part but gave a further explanation of myself.
