While I don't truly understand the point your trying to make, I'll try to explain my stand point. I personallt believe that the death penalty is moral enough to exist. I agree with you about guillotines and hangings. People nowadays are overly sensitive to death. Back in the day, public hangings existed, and people were shoved beneath the guillotines as the crowds gathered to watch. "Executioner" was a job title to be proud of. Now, it's something to be ashamed of for some reason.
My problem with the death penalty is when it's used as a catch-all solution. If someone robs a store, is it worth a hanging? No, it's not. I'm also against prisons as the go-to solution. Prisons are a waste of tax-payers' money. The death penalty should only be used for extreme instances or repeat offenders, prisons should never be used, and fines should cover the rest.
Clunk, how do you fine a person thats broke?
At the same time your fine means nothing to a person of wealth.
Fine d trump or limbaw
$1,000,000 For shooting someone at random.
Its nothing to them.
That said, an honestly poor person doesnt have a dollar to his name.
Try thinking through your replies.
If someone's poor and doesn't have enough money to pay the fine, then you take their stuff. Did you forget about my stance on the death penalty? If someone shoots someone for seemingly no reason, then to the guillotine they go.
No, I think they're saying that we should bring back cheaper methods of execution, such as the guillotine. I also think they're advocating the use of executions as the catch-all crime punishment.
What is your stance on “Death Penalty”?

Well, you'd start by taking their property, and if it's a large enough fine, perhaps their house would be taken.
