I think every generation thinks they invented sex but there just seems to be so much peer pressure with FWBs etc instead of long term relationships. Plus the abuse of alcohol and drugs that seem so readily available to this generation.
I try to publicise at every opportunity that condoms do not protect you from HIV as the spaces between the rubber is larger than the HIV virus.
A baby is not a doll - so God help the teenage mothers!
I looked this up just now, and I'd like to say that I cannot find any evidence to agree with you. The main reason for failure of condoms to prevent HIV is incorrect use (for example, wrong size, letting it fall off or greasy fingers) or inconsistant use (not using one every time you have sex). All of the stupid "only 90% effective" stories are due to incorrect use. Condoms are 100% if you are responsible using them. Don't spread misinformation. And please, if you are going to reply to this and tell me that I am wrong, please provide a link to a reputable scientific source that proves you right, or you'll just be making a fool of yourself.
If a condom is latex, used properly, and labeled that it is for disease control, then the HIV virus doesn't pass through magically. It has to break. You are spreading misinformation if you're telling people HIV permeates a sound, unbroken, properly used, latex condom.
What is your opinion one teenagers having sex?
