Says the aunt and friend of many teens / young adults who decided to have children when they didn't / won't finish High School. Therefore, ruining their and their kids life. Hopefully though they make their kids go to school, but most of the time whatever their parents end up doing, their kids end up doing the same thing as well. Which is going to ruin society as a whole.
By the way, as you can read from the title, this is my opinion, therefore I should feel subjective to sharing those opinions. How I express them if up to me. Obviously I'm not going to express them like everyone else since I am my own person. If you took it the wrong way, I apologize since this is the internet everyone takes everything the wrong way. No one can tell what tone you use, etc.

We're talking about teens here, they aren't always going to use protection. No sex doesn't have to equal children or diseases, but I would rather teens shut their legs than to even to think about the risk of either.
And if you want me to bring up abortion (or adoption / foster care), I will.
I agree they're not always going to use protection, and there is a huge teen pregnancy rate in the UK, USA and most prominently in places like Niger... but that's why I think sexual education is a lot more effective than just saying "shut yer legs". Since when do teenagers follow commands?
Proper sex education is the best way to show young people (like myself) the facts about unprotected sex, letting them discuss and make their own choices about their sexuality. That way they will truly learn to be responsible by their own free will.
PS: If you want to bring up abortion/adoption/foster care go ahead, I may not agree with what you say about those matters but I'm not going to avoid the issue.

Again, obviously just my opinion. No, teens won't listen which is why I don't care what I put on these things.
In holland we don't have this problem, and believe me.. Dutch people are not abstinent..
