      • Does heavy actually care for modern russia? He was born in soviet russia and I think the comics take place before the fall of the soviet union.

  • I like Russian values, they're very similar to old American values. Women are more feminine there and men more manly. I like the way they do their immigration control.

I like the way they fight wars too I believe they are in some ways more effective and in some ways less effective. One thing America likes to do now is put soldiers on trial for accidently hitting a civilian in a firefight. So now the terrorist use that against them by putting human shields infront and shooting at the Americans from behind. Russia doesnt have that problem, because Russia figured out that the problem with human shields is they arent bullet proof, so they shoot the terrorists anyway (unless the human shields are Russian, but even then they might).

I really like the way Russia does things but I think their economic system sucks, and I don't like when they immigrate to America because they vote for the same silly policies that they ran from.

    • I belive that once putin finally kicks the bucket, real peace talks can happen. Russia could be an american ally or at least a neutral country just working on itself. Russia today isnt the russia of the past. Russia hates Chinas goverment and are only allies because of the historical bonds. Heck I think if we go to war with china we can negotiate with Russia that they can have their land back that china stole from them, all they have to do is deny china supplies.

      • "We can't expect the American people to jump from capitalism to communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have communism.

"We do not have to invade the United States, we will destroy you from within."

This is a quote from late Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev.

I think Russia is doing everything they can to destroy us. Idk if it will be different after Putin but I'm sure they're funding our politicians (who have hundreds of millions despite making 400k a year). If you think to yourself "whats the best way to destroy a country from within" ALL of it is happening today. I don't think Russia is out friend and I think they and China are trying to destroy us to become #1 superpowers.

They're fuckin assholes dude. Russia is gonna switch to being capitalistic and America communistic

        • I think china is more on that bandwagon than russia. Both are definitely trying to run america amok so we become weaker, the reasons for it is different though.

Russia just wants america to not be able to conquer russia. This is just a simple way to destabilize America for a solely strategic purpose.

China on the other hand wants to be in americas place as the sole superpower and spread thier version of communism around the world. Fun fact Russia hates chinas communism, an are just as likely to go to war with them over a different version of communism then of capitalism.

  • As a Country - Russia is a great place to visit.

Their current government and leadership has devastated the economy and has destabilized the area. Certainly not trustworthy on many things.

  • I think Putin is sexy. I understand that he’s a tyrant but at least he demands respect. If Russians made memes about him like we do with Trump, they’d have their legs chopped off. And despite that, their people still love their Motherland and aren’t frowned upon it like in the US. As an American, when I say “I love my country”, I’m scrutinized.

  • Its one of the very few countries I can without a doubt say I wish would just go away.

  • It's the secondary threat to america at this point. I'm still hoping for peace with russia, russia just needs to stop its imperialistic territory grabs. America shares more values with russia then with china. China contributes zero to the war on terror which is a pretty stupid thing to do since their own millitary is starving for experience (but it's fine if they want to live in their own little bubble of existence)

I personally think that we can sway russia to be more of our ally than china with good diplomacy and trading.

Of course we still got to keep an eye on Putin.

  • The women are either 10/10 or 1/10, there's absolutely no in between. The men are frequently wild but fun with a few normal here and there. I've seen some beautiful areas as well as some depressing ones there. Lastly, most importantly, I know better than to accept tea from Putin.

  • Russia seems almost mythical to me; the tanks, the accents, the permafrost, the old architecture, the sheer scale of their country, I don’t think I’ll ever really comprehend it exists unless I get to see it for myself.

  • Politically I dont know enough to have an opinion.

I have been to St.Petersburg and Moscow and lemme tell you how fan-fucking-tastic and beautiful that huge ass land mass is (and I only went to the populous part)!

  • Russia is generally good, but will always be doomed to have a bad economy. This is because Russians think that wealth is something people steal from each other. Actually, wealth is created, then wealth is consumed. If you want more wealth, you must create more wealth. This takes INVESTMENT with a creative approach to productivity.

Putin should be investing his billions in the Russian economy so it can create billions more. This will never happen. The U.S. and China are the masters at wealth creation. The Chinese and American people find economic opportunity because the recognize the process. It's not politics, people; it's business.

  • It's a beautiful place (at least the part I visited), the food is hearty and stodgy like British food except probably healthier, and I've always liked the Russian people I've met. No comment on its politics, though...
