There is no one group of people in the world where their entire history was peachy. Practically every civilization since the begining of time had slaves, did discrimination, was xenophobic, at one point or another.
Holding a grudge for all of history is just ignorant to the human condition... we are shitty to eachother, so the fact that these times are the least shitty times to be alive should be recognized as such.
