I'm on a never ending journey of making that change.

  • Good Little Girl

    Good little girl
Always picking a fight with me
    You know I'm bad
That you're spending the night with me
What do you want from my world?
    You're a good little girl.

    Bad little boy
    That's what you're acting like
    I really don't buy
That you're that kind of guy
And if you are, why do you want to hang out with me?

    Bad Little Boy

Did you think I was lying?
I said I'm evil without even trying
Already dead so I'm not scared of dying
Drinking the red from your heart and one sitting
You think you got me 'cause you must be kidding
I raise the dead up and they do my bidding
    Girl, I'm a thousand years
    I'm a riddle
    Bad little boy
Yes, I bad, but not little.

    ...I'm tired already....

    The rest of my songs:

    Cake's Song
    Sleepy Little Puppies
    Bacon Pancakes

(all of these songs were from Adventure Time)

  • I can give some "favourite songs", some of which I barely listen to despite really loving them. Mainly because I associate them with moments or feelings or people I'm fond of.

In fact, I'll just do rock songs because it's easier to pick a favourite. I still can't narrow it down past one of these 4, though. They're all too perfect in their own way.

EDIT: Listened to them all again. The answer is Iris. I know how cheesy and obvious it is, but my God I love that song.

I think it is pretty much impossible to have a favourite song.

  • Man, today I'll say There For Tomorrow - A Little Faster but tomorrow you'll get a completely different answer.

  • Just one?

    'In My Life', The Beatles.

    • I grew up with a huge book of Beatles sheet music and In My Life was one of my favourites to play. You can get so much expression into it. Same with Eleanor Rigby and For No One.

      • What instrument do you play?

        Comment Hidden ( show )
          -
        • I've been through a few but it's only keyboard these days. The keyboard I've got does a good job of sounding like other instruments, though. It actually makes incidental noises like the fret noise of a guitar or the person breathing with certain wind instruments.

          • Nice. I play a passable guitar, and have recently taken up trombone again. I would love to learn the piano. It seems so, er, logical to play.

  • shadowplay - joy division.
The lyrics are so evocative. The song has an amazing effect on me.

  • My answer would change every time I was asked, most likely, but today and at this moment, I'll say it's a toss-up between Pachelbel's Canon, the Johnny Depp version of Oasis' Fade Away, and Bohemian Rhapsody. I'm going to go with Fade Away. Tomorrow it'll probably be Life on Mars again.

    • You just reminded me that I'm supposed to come up with a personal playlist of calming music. Pachelbel's Canon must be on it.
