My favorite film is eraserhead by David lynch because it is the film that made me truly appreciate cinema, the godfather was the film that made me realise that films don't have to be just explosions and break neck speed but eraserhead was the first film to affect me.
The first time I finished it I just went to bed and spent hours trying to figure out what it all meant and it's due to that film that I'm such a fan of cinema
what is your favorite movie, and why?

No it's on Netflix but I never got round to it, isn't it the one that's set largely in a limo?
Would you recommend it?

Wow, sounds like inland empire
Yep mostly in a limo and very confusing if you aren't used to the sort of narrative he uses. But it's definitely worth seeing, I quite liked it.
