What is your attitude toward sluts?

I'm a guy and I wish society didn't put a stigma on women who like to have sex while congratulating men on it. Double standards are ridiculous. I really don't understand why people condemn promiscuous women so much.

Having sex a lot makes a woman a slut, and not having sex makes a women prudent. That's great. Nice to know I don't have the freedom to live a happy life without my lifestyle being judged. If a woman (or a man, for that matter) is happy with their sex life, then that's fine. Women who have undesired sex for attention are trying to fill something usually, and I really don't think calling someone a "slut" is going to help matters. I'm sick of seeing people shun sex life. Sex is a wonderful thing, and if you enjoy and like having it, then that's fine. That's how it should be, and people should stop judging women just because they like to have sex a lot. It's none of your business.

If we're talking about women that dress provacatively, have careless sex and rack up STDs and pregnancies with such an ease then I'd say they're just irresponsible and probably not too smart in the foresight area. They might have a mental deficiency or self-esteem issues, and looking down on them only worsens it. Just look away, damn. That's what I do.

But as far as women that just enjoy having sex, sure, what ever. But I don't want to listen to the details of your sex life. If my response is "Mhmm... great..." then take the hint. I believe in monogamy, but I don't care what you do and don't want to hear about it. Whatever makes you happy, props for getting laid. Sex is great. I just want a relationship too. Now as far as women that go out in public, where kids are watching, wearing their thongs visibly, and their "sexy" tramp stamps showing under their teeny, tiny shirts that just barely cover their nipples and short shorts with camel toe and shit... ew. And don't give me shit for thinking that either. You're the one that decided to go out in public looking like that. We are all judged by our appearance, you're not special. Don't bitch about how you deserve to be treated like a Queen when you dress like a Vietnamese hooker. I treat them with respect, but I have a hard time actually respecting them.

Complicated question. In my honest, heartless opinion, Anyone who feels they need to subjugate themselves to their instincts in order to feel good is repulsive. In my empathetic approach, I feel everyone deserves a chance to be understood and respected.

My opinion on average? I don't value sexual relationships with more than one person at a time, and do not respect "sex just for fun", because sex's original purpose was reproduction. Therefore, you are "pretend reproducing" with numerous people; just doesn't sound clean or respectable, no matter what your excuse for happiness is.

The term slut is a term used by people under the power of the patriarchy. It tells women that, unlike men, they are not allowed to fully satisfy their sexuality as they see fit. If you notice, men are never truly shamed for sleeping around. It is considered a part of their nature. This is in denial of the fact that women have a sex drive that is equal or greater to that of men.
