  • Once she found what you had written she had a duty of care to report it. If you had actually harmed yourself and it ever came out that she had read that stuff and not reported it she would have been in more trouble than you could even imagine.

    • I understand that but she could of talked to me first about it, instead of letting the school counselor, my parents, and my teachers know about my personal problems.

      She could of asked me if I want help or this is just some 'edgy' phase that I am going through.

      I am sure that some adults had that 'edgy' phase in their teenage years and didn't commit suicide.

      You made a really good point there though.

      • Nope, she was required by law to report it. Edgy phase, or not staff are required to report this kinda stuff. They have no way of knowing whether, or not a student is serious even if the student says they're not serious they're required to report it, because they can't take chances.
