Well, I got offerred a sort of "Lit and Lang" course for English since I didn't make the grades to do just Lit like I wanted to. Tbh, I'm glad I took the Lit and Lang because the books we get are so much more interesting, plus it is mostly Lit until next year any way, and by the time we start doing Lang I'll've dropped it. I only chose English in the first place because I couldn't think of anything better, which is why I'm dropping it :)
I don't know what I want to do for a career, but I think that sticking with subjects you enjoy is the best policy until then. I imagine I'll try and go for a uni in 2 years, but it rather depends what happens between now and then in terms of tuition fees.
For me, Politics is just fascinating. It is all very well bitching about what a bad job politicians do, but having studied it I've come to realise all the reasons why it has to be the way it is. I'd love a career in that, but it's a long and difficult road to the top :s
Well if you enjoy it then it definitely seems like a good idea:) Plus it's hard to get the top of any good career, so liking it should make it easier. I'm thinking of studying German at uni, since it's my favourite subject and the job prospects are amazing:D
What is up with all these big words?
