You're not a loser. Some women feel weirded out by some guy they don't even know approaching them in a public place. It's best to try to not to find one that way. Find some kind of social group where you'll be meeting people with similar interests to you. And there are many different websites where you can meet people. There's one called meetup. Try not to just walk up to women somewhere public. I mean people have done it before and been super successful when they're the real smooth talking good looking Romeo types. But, most people doing it that way will be weirding some women out, especially if they're making it obvious they're hitting on them, which will seem obvious anyway just since you're merely approaching them, unless you're particular with your words and your approach. You must be relaxed, and you'd need something particular to say to make it really seem like what you're talking about is definitely more important than you actually just trying to talk to them, if you know what I mean. But some women will not be comfortable with some guy just approaching them in public. Best to find some type of social group with people of similar interests. Or you can always meet people through friends, like your friend who knows somebody who knows somebody, that kind of thing.
