I think being your own master is healthy. Knowing you can build a life for yourself, or destroy the life you have is empowering. This idea of a benevolent dictator is an immature attempt to preserve the dependence you felt as a young child to your mother.
I say, freedom rocks. Speak freely, breathe freely, and own firearms freely. We don't need no fucking King. We don't need tyranny of the soul either.
