What is the meaning of the christmas season to you?

Being home with family and friends. Especially true for those among us who need to travel longer to get home.
Christmas is THE family holiday. When you're a kid, Christmas is about presents, but when you grow up - it's about being home with the people you love.

An excuse to spend time enjoying God.

Did not care until I had my son. Now it's Xmas tree and everything.

to me christmas is all about bringing in family and spending time together

Luke 2:11-14

12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

Presents

I became quite religious recently (though not in a boring puritanical way) so it means Jesus a bit, and other than that just an excuse to celebrate and go out

Santa.

It's traditionally against my religion to celebrate holidays, but I do celebrate Christmas. It's my favorite holiday.

Lots of stress but good food.

It's the presents, but I don't celebrate Christmas, I celebrate Thanksgiving.

December is my favorite month. It's a shame that it's tarnished by Christmas and New Year's.
