    People who want to be able to be "different" for a little attention.
    
    And if you're thinking "oh, well that doesn't matter because no one is going to see who put undecided". The need for some people to fulfill their undeserved idea that they are special is very strong. Just the knowledge that they were the one checked that box off, makes them feel accomplished.

    I think there are just as many girls as guys it looks like. I don't think there are as many males pretending to be females as there are females pretending to be males pretending to be females.

Why would guys bother to pretend to be women online, unless they had something to gain?

    I don't care if I don't fit in with anybody on this site, I'm never gonna meet anyone here face to face. I could walk by one of you on the street and neither of us would ever know it, unless I yelled out loud "my name is Alichael on Is it normal". I’m sure you’ve seen posts or comments from supposed female users here that offer advice to get gang banged or blow 20 random strangers over the weekend for the experience - what female in their right mind would offer that advice, potentially to a confused kid? And it’s not just one username, it is likely one user with multiple alts that is most certainly a creepy 40-50 yo male acting out some warped fantasy so they can jack off to responses in the comfort of their mom’s basement.
