Oh the accents :/ I didn't realise Chidi's friend was meant to be Aussie. I thought it was a bad Kiwi accent.
So, so painful.
Hahaha, I didn't think of that and didn't notice it was that bad. I'll still love them anyway, by far one of the best underrated shows!!
I've been using "fork" pretty much daily for a couple of years now.
Who is supposed to be Aussie in that show? Didn't even realise they were trying to do that lol
For me, personally, it's a matter of giving up all the other options. When you do make a decision or a choice it means that you necessarily lose something else.
My wife has a problem with this. She's smart enough to be able to see the bad consequences that might flow from virtually every choice she makes, and fear of making the wrong decision can paralyse her. For some reason, she can't get her head around the concepts that the best is the enemy of the good, few things work out exactly as we hope, and making a mistake doesn't always mean you're a bad or stupid person.
The main cause of indecisiveness is being born under the sign of Gemini.
Holy shit do they ever have a hard time making up their minds! My sister is a gemini and crap, even the smallest most insignificant decision will cause her grief.
The best way to deal with indecisive people is to limit their choices. If you say something like, "there are SO MANY to choose from!" their heads will explode so keep the options limited when you can.
Zodiac signs are not totally the case here. Some people like to think about all the choices that are offered. If the person decided on one choice, then they often wonder what if they have chosen something different.
Libras too. We analyze all the choices to death to make sure we get it right and this can take some time. Even with really petty decisions.
You're right about a multitude of choices causing some people to get locked in a negative loop.
If you have a choice of eating a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast or going hungry until dinner time, the best decision is obvious. If you walk into a supermarket and stand in front of a shelf holding 327 different kinds of breakfast cereals, things are way too complicated.
