I found a place through a friend that doesn't judge people. It is an offshoot of Christianity but my parents seem to think it is a "cult". I know it isn't a cult; everyone here is becoming better people through grace. Cults are destructive, we are a sect that likes to make money and donate to the less fortunate.
If they start offering Kool Aid or make you wear white sneakers I would decline.

I have a 1984 broken down BMW 635CSI project car to fix and I've worked out the ECU is dead... I need a new one. It only costs like 600 Euros XD
I suggest you check out cult definitions online: if the group has a charismatic leader who claims a personal relationship with a deity; if no questioning of the groups beliefs are allowed; if everyone outside the group is regarded as evil and dangerous; if members are discouraged from or forbidden to have contact with friends or family not in the group ........ it's a cult. There's more to the definition than I've listed, look it up yourself.
If it really isn't a cult, why not invite your parents to come along to whatever religious services the group has, or to have a meal with some other members?
If they can see that you are becoming a better person as you say they'll eventually come round: however if you're trying to convert them or patronise them because you've found "grace" and they haven't, it's unlikely you can be close to them at this time or maybe never.
