  • Ugh that's the worst I've ever heard :( what stopped them being like that?

Mine were always bad until I started taking the right kind of birth control. But never puking or blacking out. That's reserved for the migraines hah.

    • Like you, birth control stopped it. There's no pain anymore and I don't have to embarrass myself with hogging up the bathroom anymore. My only fear is that my thyroid will shut down due to the pills. This might make me sound like a jerk, but I'll take the pain over getting fat again if I have to. I might just talk to my gyno and see my options.
      :)

      • You can always see an endocrinologist about the thyroid if it ever comes up. There are options for managing thyroid issues. It's usually more pills, but still.

Is it all BC that causes thyroid issues or can you try a different brand? I don't recall seeing thyroid stuff mentioned on my BC, but then, I was given it by the endo who was managing my thyroid so I guess it'll be ok haha.

        • I'd rather not let it get to that point. I haven't a clue if all bc is like that . I'm probably going to talk to a gyno. Apparently my current one doesn't accept my new insurance, so I'll have to find another to discuss it with. XD
