I am indifferent about it, but a lot of dudes seem to have their varied opinions about it.
My brothers would say that being a man is all about being tough skinned and not letting your emotions get the better of you but in my experience dudes are plenty emotional I don't think I have to explain.
My sisters would say that a man is someone who takes responsibilities for their actions and steps up when needed they make it sound like being a man should be like a job when plenty of dudes are very irresponsible and I'm not saying that in a negative way.
As far as I see it some dudes try to overcompensate because they feel they are lacking something and will target anyone that says otherwise it's always a dick measuring contest of who is a real man.
Most aren't like that but you have some who while well intentioned can come off as meatheads who feel that they must act like the lead bro and take charge.
Like I said for the most part I'm very indifferent to those things and that's because I have a lot of issues so I don't have time to act like I'm large and In charge when I have several different voices in my head telling me what's right and what's wrong.
If it's anything like my boyfriend's experience: you get shit from people for not being masculine enough, so liking feminine things is bad. Show emotions, and people make fun of you. I recall his ex accused him of being gay, then transgender because he had these qualities. It wasn't just her either. He is repulsed at the idea of fucking a man and he's not trans. He said he's tried the masculine, hide emotions thing before and all it did was put him in a bad place emotionally. I'm happy with him being who he is and not a pretender.

More responsibility to be successful. No one feels sorry for a grown dude that works at McDonalds.
In response, I would like to ask, what is it like to have your own real breasts ? I wish I had my own.
Sorry for piggybacking here OP but I have a question for the dudes too - what does it feel like to pee off a balcony? Is it as liberating as I imagine it to be?
It's brilliant. We earn the most money, get the best jobs, can have as much sex as we want without having to worry about getting pregant etc. If I was to list all the things that is great about being a man I would be here all day.
