Seems to me that the girls know which group member is most accomplished at cold logic, and use underhanded humor, emotional appeals, and subtle fallacies to cut her out of the conversation. But, if a nice looking young college professor dude, says hi to the group, they don't even bother with him. Ms Brainiac has property rights on the guy.
Most of it yes, but often if there’s a man that looks more fitting for a certain type of girl then we really don’t care. Or just assume “look they match so and so in talents and personality, why bother?”
Of course, this often leads to jealousy, envy, gossip yada yada.
Sufficed to say I’ve been guilty of getting upset at the same sex due to the feeling of constant competition. But it’s never really been over guys, more of achievements.
What is it like being a woman?

Is this a credible impression?

Hmmmmmm, guys are a dime a dozen, I suppose.
"Great minds discuss ideas;
average minds discuss events;
small minds discuss people."
Maybe you need friends with larger minds.

I discuss all of those things from time to time, as do most people. However, I get the quote, and I like it.
but you see, women think in two tabs. Instead of one.
One main program is running in the forefront and then there’s always the background programs.
I call to stand the laser cutter as a man’s mind and for the woman, a factory.
