What is it and how can i get it off

i have this black stuff that i dont even know what it is, growing on my neck.
i dont know what it is no matter howhard i scrub or scratch it doesnt come off.
and you can notice it. i feel discouraged
to talk to new people. can someone tell me what it is????

    Do you wear cheap jewellery? I find if I wear the stuff you get at Claire's, Stitches, etc (you know, the ones that are like 3 for $5 or cheaper), then it turns my skin black/green. I guess it's some kind of reaction from the metal. Maybe this is what your experiencing? (Not saying you're cheap! lol)

      Lol that's what I thought of too. "Growing" on your neck sounds quite worrying though.

    when you wear fake jewelery, take mood rings for example, it tends to leave what you are describing

    My fiance has the same problem. Hers came from being overweight but I don't know about yours. It is annoying I'm sure but it will not hurt or harm you. It is just rather disturbing to look at and I wish you the best of luck.
