Not necessarily horny - most furries put the idea of sex with animals (or other furries, people, fire hydrants, etc) a distant second to the idea of just "being closer" to their anthropomorphic ideal.
In many ways (so I have been told) the whole furry scene is a little like the Transexual scene - the feeling of being "more comfortable" dressing in clothing stereotypically regarded as being for the opposite gender is separate and distinct to a person's sexual orientation.
My eldest son and Daughter-In-Law are in the Cosplay scene, and some of the people they "dress up" with identify as furries - so yeah, as I have been told.
