I heard someone refer to themselves as a 'fish' regarding entering a drag show...

what is a fish...

from whAT I know she is a woman...

but i didnt know if fish meant she had a sex change or are just a born woman that goes to drag shows.... or a cross dresser....

i'm really not sure... but it would be extremely embarrassing to ask her... because I did over hear the conversation... it wasnt involved with me directly.

but i'm really curious and I can't seem to find my answer anywhere online... and is it normal has a wide assortment of gay knowledgable people.

    I looked it up on UrbanDictionary.com and this seemed like the most likely one: A term for biological women used primarily by gay men, either in a positive or derogatory way. Also used by gay men to complement female looking drag queens or transgender women that appear 'real' or too convincing to be men.

      lol should have looked a little further cause these fit too: An execeptionally feminine, homosexual man; A term used in the gay community to describe a natural born girl.; A feminine (often extremely feminine) gay male; A drag queen term for a drag queen who looks like a real woman
      You get the idea, I drag queen/cross dresser/gay man/transgender that looks very much like an actual female

    Maybe she wasn't linking the two together and she was just calling herself a fish. You know like when people say they are being random and call themselves a fish (which is totally stupid and not random at all) but yeah, maybe thats why.
