What is ‘normal’?

I think normal is a mixture of what society deems acceptable or common.
There's a tribe in Africa who jump over a line of cows naked as a rite of passage, if you did that here you'd be labelled a freak. In certain parts of the world I wouldn't be considered to have mental problems but here things like that are considered abnormal.

Your particular culture defines what is normal and what is not normal.

Normal is whatever is most common.

I believe everyone's definition of normal is different. Maybe not by much but it is there. What may be normal for some might seem a little odd for others.
