I fish (!!) and I also have a machete that lives on my porch! No one would notice it, but I know it's there. I'm an outdoors-lady!!
I have some secret magnetized gun holders around the house. And the traditional few under the bed and sofa.
I have at least one rifle in my vehicle at all times, usually more.
I don't carry handguns on my person due mostly to the state I live in, but necessity says I don't need to bother. I live in a nice place, and it's perfectly legal to walk/drive around with a rifle unconcealed so who cares? I'm not going through a mountain of paperwork and minimum 6 months of investigation into my life just to carry a handgun here. I've flown under the radar long enough to want to STAY there.
I'm more concerned about bringing weapons with me when I venture out into the woods than into town, honestly. I LOVE rabbit. And who doesn't like to blow away a woodchuck? Nuisance.
