If I were religious, I'd probably ask,
"So what have you learnt from this experience?"
And then,
"Was it worthwhile?"
If they say yes, I'd say "Good. Have a nice day." And walk away. If they said no, I'd say "Sorry to hear that. Have a nice day." And walk away.
No point getting worked up unless they start being abusive. Most Christian churches are meant to welcome everyone.
