Female beauty is just a huge fad. Toss your insecurity to the side, because you're beautiful already despite what fad is out right now. Just be healthy and happy with yourself; plus, to achieve the latest beauty trend requires plastic surgery or botox (i.e. Nikki Minaj, Carli-B, Kardashians, etc), it's not worth it.
