What else is missing from supermarkets because of coronavirus?

We have no toilet paper obviously, we have no chicken and the only meat left is expensive cuts of red meat. All the cheap can food is gone. I have noticed not much people are touching seafood (even cheap seafood. rice is gone, pasta is gone, fresh fruit and veggies seem ok. Bread seems ok. No bleach, no metho, eggs don't seem to bad.

What can we all learn from this?

People are starting to chomp at the bit. Even stuff that sucks and normally doesn't sell is starting to vanish.

At this point it isn't about what is gone, it is about what is even left.
I noticed junk food (my main diet) is not short.

I am starting to wonder when people will run out of money and not be hoarding. I mean how long can the general public keep up this act of emptying the shelves?

I find it odd that people aren't buying up the junk food. It is extremely unlikely that basic food essentials will disappear long term. We may even end up with the army distributing stuff. But chips and nice wine and chocolate? Your favourite imported hot sauce? Foreign cheeses? Nobody is going to risk their life to produce and distribute that stuff. If I was in the market to panic buy, which I'm not, I'd be clearing the shelves of the none essentials. The junk food. The needlessly fancy imported stuff.

    • You would think that the main hoarders would sooner or later have enough and stop beings hoars. Maybe not.

I have a friend that works at Costco and he said people maxed out their credit cards to get things. I really don't get the logic in that.

I found a local farm that delivers meat to my area once a week. It’s pretty bitching to support local businesses and not feed my kids all the trash that’s in grocery store meat. Y’all should check your surrounding areas for the same!

I’d rather other families be able to eat as well.

        • I just care about my own family. If it comes down to it I would take other peoples shit so my family could survive. I will do whatever it takes to see my family survive. Any other time I wouldn't have a problem giving a homeless fuck one of my cans of baked beans.

Look in the supermarkets for bacon offcuts, it's just normal bacon but they sell it at a fraction of the normal price because it's not sliced perfectly
