~Being woken up in the middle of the night [barking, peeing, crying etc]

~Possible holes in the yard
~Possible damage to garden, flowers etc
~Possible increased insurance costs
~Hair everywhere
~Home will begin to stink [smell like a kennel]
~Possible misplacing your Love which was meant for a human thus driving away human companionship
Cats don't have to go outside or even be walked. They are self sufficient.
Some cats go outside but its really up to the owner and the cat...situational basis.
Weekend trips etc. just leave out food and water. Cat will poop and pee in the litter box and eat/drink what ever it wants. Its totally cool with being home alone...where as a dog would go nuts, tear up the house, crap everywhere, piss everywhere and probably starve to death because it will eat up all of its food the first day.
Dog, think of a perpetual 3 year old. Smart enough to be interesting, but too dumb to take care of itself and still totally needy 24/7.
Cats make great companions. They give love and affection as well as receive. They Live a long time and can protect you and the home just as good as or better than any dog. Plus they keep the house rodent free.
