What does having your hair shaved/buzzed feel like?

I'm thinking about having my hair buzzed very short with clippers (with a guard) and would like to know what it feels like. I have asked a few people and put their answers as the poll options. Can anyone who's been 'under the clippers' try and tell me what it's like? Thanks.

If it matters, I am female but don't tell me not to get my hair buzzed because it's something I want to try and it will be good for the conditon of my hair. : D I've had my hair quite short before but haven't had clippers used on it.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • It tickles, it can make you want to squirm a little. If your hair's being pulled, make sure it's not tangled and that it's not too long. Cut it with scissors first to manageable length if it's choking up the buzzer.

If it matters, I'm female too.

    • Yes, as tufts of hair cascade to the ground, to be swept away like fragments of your former, broken self.

      ...it's very intriguing

  • I shave my head with a number one guard (shortest guard) and pleasant and buzzy describes it best,it feels kinda cool to have the clippers run across your skull.as said before it feels great with the wind blowing on it!

  • I shave the top of my head every morning for maximum creepyness.

  • just be careful not to snap your neck when you get out of the shower and attempt to whip your hair back and forth.

  • But really, 'pleasant and buzzy' is a good description.

Afterwards, it will feel kind of liberating; fresh and alive like a snake that has shed it's skin. Your head will become lighter as the cool breeze you feel on your freshly shorn scalp brings a newfound sense of freedom and reaffirms the connection you've always felt with your true Self and the universe.
