I think there should be psychology classes, where they would teach you how to solve conflicts, how to learn effectively, how to manage your emotions, how to be assertive and not aggressive and much more. I also support sex education, which unfortunately got banned in my country. I'm not talking about any propaganda or sexualizing minors. I'm talking about teaching students what consent is, methods of contraception, sexual orientations, what's normal and healthy and what's not, about periods and pregnancy. Also, how to deal with identity issues and what options they have.

They already teach about periods and the boys and girls anatomy, but ewww, wtf? Schools should not teach about screwing someone else. Gross.

Sadly, the internet already provides X-rated demonstrations to all minors willing to click the 'Over 18' button. Child birth movies would be a much better choice for adolescent viewers. It's the start of being a parent.

        • We should allow the girls to be taught advanced sex techniques.. And only hot ones allowed. Unattractive women should learn to cook. The hot girls get to learn advanced sexual studies classes with a hung white guy. Depending on your grades and accomplishments in this class you graduate to a billionaires kitchen. But she doesnt have to cook. She gets a whip and directs the ugly girls to do stuff while in lingerie. Then we all fuck.

This is a nice hedonistic fantasy; it's a pleasant escape to think about them. Actually, I'd rather learn HOW to become a billionaire. An MBA degree from a top graduate program would be a good start. Even Melinda Gates has one.

            • If I was a billionaire id have an army of hookers. At 12:01am on a girls 18th birthday she can get hired on. But you could have like a program to where they can retire by the time they're washed up with millions and never have to work again. Obviously you would make it worth their while and not just steal their soul for nothing. If you're a billionaire u dont have to make hoes miserable you're rich enough to treat them well. It would just suck because some of them will have daddy issues then she looks up to you and u cant fuck her anymore because its weird now.

Not everyone is from the US. I don't know what subjects you have there, but I said we have sex ed banned here. Not about "screwing someone else", but about birth control and consent. This is important information and most teens are uneducated about it, which can have some pretty bad consequences.

I know that, genius. Also, you've got to be joking. Schools teaching about birth control and consent isn't going to help. People already know about consent, yet still fuck somebody else against their will. Many people, teenagers included, know that they should use condoms and birth control, and what do they do? They still go and have sex without any contraceptions. People don't really care.

Could you stop with that rude sarcasm and talk more politely? It's great that you have that knowledge, but I know many uneducated people who should really learn more about puberty and sex, cause later we have kids raising kids. Let's just agree to disagree.

World history and how it connects to now. Not through the lenses of racism of color but rather what the people did with their natural resources. Too often do we get the stereotype that our ancestors were morons. When in reality they made works and machinery that while crude compared to modern inventions were beyond novel for their time. This can be better utilized for the understanding of why certain cultures didnt progress or were subjugated by their neighbors.

    • I could not agree more. People do not talk about how the structure of ones society helps develop their nations. You can see some nations that failed because of their societal norms and some grew and it often comes down to societal norms (as well as military and climate)

It's not like white people are inherently superior.

Europe is a great example how technical strides were undertaken in a relatively short period. Europe is packed full of conquering countries that would absorb their neighbors. That spired on the arms race for every technology available. Better shipping, better weapons, better trade routes. It's a perfect combination for forging extremely powerful countries that now have the ability to look beyond their petty borders.

It's not because white people are superior it's because those kingdoms utilized their tech in the most useful ways they sought fit.

That's why china had a hard time with european countries. They had the technology but lacked the will to spread and develope it further.

Also meant that mineral poor parts of the world were screwed from the start like the new world and africa (excluding the middle east part of africa)

        • Religion has alot to do with it as well. Christianity and Islam tell you to spread the religion. As the way of practicing christianity has evolved into what we have now when our ancestors were conquering they thought they were doing good by converting other people and spreading the word of god. Islam is a younger religion and is kind of still in this stage in my opinion. But these religions have family values and also keep STDs from spreading because of man and wife. Christianity has helped us evolve and will also help islam take over eventually.

Islam had it's time with being the technological religion. That faded away obviously.

I agree, my sex education was β€œgood” by most standards, we covered the basics of conception and contraception, I even slid a condom onto a dildo infront of the class but so much of the bigger picture was missing. Gay couples were vaguely alluded to but there was no mention of bisexuality, asexuality or trans people. There was also never a lesson on consent and respecting your partner’s boundaries. What I also find bizarre is the lack of photographs of regular healthy vaginas, penises and anuses, the only time we were shown anything other that a vague line-drawing was when we were being subjected to photos of horrifying STDs.

Schools should teach things kids will actually need to know later on in life. Most things they teach in school is useless and pointless. Not just highschool, but for Elementary and Middle as well.

There is a huge deficit of Math skills in society. High paid software jobs go unfilled, few people understand the computational order of algebraic operations, or Probability and Statistics that is needed in business. And, I’m not even including the differential calculus that economists, scientists, and engineers use every day.

Math teachers get paid less than car park attendants. This area of social ignorance should be no surprise.

I think more should be taught about economics. It should be a mandatory class. I hear young people say silly things and they do not understand the true concept of supply and demand and how it translates to the real world. Ive had people argue with me saying even if we took in 20 million illegals that will all work unskilled labor jobs that wouldnt affect unskilled labor wages.

Also finance classes are important I'm just now learning about how banks work and how mortgages work and bonds.

As others have said, stuff that is actually relevant to life. Of 'academic' subjects, literacy and numeracy are the only ones of any value. I concur with the late Peter Burns of the rock band 'Dead Or Alive' who said 'Kids need to learn how to handle life, not what to do with a decimal point'.

The difference between sex and gender. And that gender dysphoria can be cured. That human males cannot become human females no matter how much surgery they undergo and how much hormones they take. Puberty blockers are dangerous and it's okay for boys to wear make up and wear dress and skirts. This does NOT make them girls. And girls should be taught that not identifying to female will not prevent them from experiencing sexism.

    • I would rather meet in the middle with the lefties and agree to not teach any gender stuff in schools. Theres some things parents should be the ones teaching. Either way you force schools to take a position of whether its right or whether its wrong. I will teach my children it is wrong and give them the reasons why I believe its wrong. I wouldnt want a teacher normalizing this behavior or demonizing that behavior to other kids. Controversial things like this should be for the parents to teach.

Gender dysphoria is a mental illness. It can't be cured. Also, who gives a shit if a guy goes under surgery and identifies as a girl?
