  • Every single medicine known to man has side effects. And i'd say if you properly use marijuana for strictly its medicinal purposes, it has the least of all side effects, and the most beneficial effects.

    • Envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise.Nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Woe to those who rise early in the morning, that they may run after strong drink, who tarry late into the evening as wine inflames them!

This does not sound like god wants us to be drunk does it?

      • Now didn't that last part sound like a hangover? Do you have anything showing bible says it is a good thing?

        • I never said anything about getting drunk, it makes me sick, and turns other people into bafoons, and violent jerks. God did however say to man, "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth.…To you it will be... And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good."
So stick that in your pipe and smoke it, smoke it real good.

    • Medicine is one thing but people do not promote medicine to get high. You want to get high and that is not for medicinal use. So saying you like being high is not going to add a lot to your claim. It also does not seem like you really care about the medicinal use when you say that. It just seems like an excuse to get high.

Which I do believe I have said already in my other comment. Yes but did Jesus ever say "Let get drunk! Be so drunk where you beat your wife and child." I think that would be gluttony and that is under the deadly sins. Also I do not think they would be against drinking since in the old days many people drank. In fact in some places they only drank alcohol because of the contaminated water.

So the point of having alcohol in it was to clean the water. Find a passage that tells people they should get drunk and high and maybe you can use god as an excuse to get high. A lot of people also smoked before they knew it was bad. Beer was also considered a replacement for food as well.
